Training Session: Fundamental Drilling & Live Wrestling
Session will finish out the week with wrestlers having a 2 day period off the mats. Live wrestling will directly follow the warm-up.
Warm-Up 40 minutes
Warm-up will start the process of burning up the body to prepare for live wrestling.
Live Wrestling 21 minutes
Drilling 20 Minutes
Conditioning 15 Minutes
Total Practice Time Approx. 90 Minutes

- Jog, tumble, stretch
- Sprints
- Tree climbs
- Motion
- Handfight go’s
- Motion
Live Wrestling 21 minutes
- Starter bout with two partners switching halfway during periods (double O.T.)
- 15 - :20 sec go’s feet must have the takedown (pick starter partner)
- 6 – 1 min go’s starter on top – 2 partners
Drilling 20 Minutes
- Fundamental drilling on coach this should push them and include chain drilling (20 minutes should be on the coaches watch)
Conditioning 15 Minutes
- Combination of partner carry’s, lifts, motion
Total Practice Time Approx. 90 Minutes
