Planner by KOLAT Bottom Granby/1 & 2 Drill Session
1.5 min Training Session: Focus of the session is gaining a 1 point escape and immediately turning it into a 2 point takedown. Top man needs to be a good partner and react to bottom man's actions. Focus will be on the granby but switch will be worked into drill. Warm-up will focus on motion on our feet with line drills and shadow wrestling.
Warm-Up 20 Minutes:
Jog 5 min
Line drill with leader (1 min go's with :30 sec rest, X6)
Shadow wrestling (lots of motion)
-1 min go
-:30 sec rest
-1 min go
Technique 25 Minutes:
Focus of the technique session is gaining a 1 point escape and immediately looking for the takedown. This is a a drill session so the pace should be high. If you need to review techniques then adjust time and technique reviewed for this session. Quick link to Granby Series for your reference. Top man should scramble only giving 1 point escapes so bottom man must then look to score again:
-Granby to counter chop break down 2 min each man
-Opponent attacks ankle and comes back to chop 2 min each man
-Fake switch to granby 2 min each man
-Opponent spiral hip bump granby 2 min each man
-Stand up to standing granby 2 min each man
-Exploding switch 2 min each man
Live 20 Minutes:
-:20 sec go's on feet with :10-:15 sec rest between X15
-:20 sec go's bottom with :10-:15 sec rest between X15
