a more effective way is going for the ankle instead of inside the crotch...with the ankle instead it allows you to use your elbow as a pry if it comes to a stale-mate situation to get the leg over...also the ankle pulls the leg over and can set up a peterson situation with transition of the hands from the ankle same into a cradle...this is my bread and butter move and it won me many matches
