with a disappointing performance at world's this year, with no medals in mean's freestyle or greco-roman, what needs to change so the USA is back on track like it was in the 90's and early 2000's?

personally, i think we need to back up from that "in-your-face" style of wrestling that has made Iowa so dominant at the NCAA level and focus more on technique and drilling. while the heavy-handed wear'em-out style worked in the past decades, with the new rule changes that FILA has made, USA needs to look for openings for takedowns sooner rather than trying to wear our opponent's down. also, i think we need to expose our kids to international styles sooner. these are just my opinions. what are yours?
