many of the emails i have received are starting to get into some serious detail and it's tough to explain or answer some questions in an email. instead of responding with an email any questions dealing with some detail on the mechanics of technique we will instead do with a live clinic on the site if it's easier to answer that way. this i believe will better answer the questions you have an also give you a great visual on the subject. we will start posting clinic dates here on the forum for you to follow along with times.
please post your request on the forum so others who have the same questions can also see it.
all clinics will be east coast time zone.

Would it be possible to see the live clinics if you missed them? Some of the clinics look good and it would be nice to see them.
Thanks,
Eric
turning tough opponents with legs and power 1/2
1edad
Cary the hand fighting clinic was very good. I was wondering if you could do a live clinic demonstrating ways to secure and turn tough opponents with the power half and legs in. Specifically, demonstrating ways to secure the power 1/2 when opponents bunch up. Thanks
He had camera troubles so it

Help with my sprawl
When I sprawl first thing I look for is to stuff the head, and if my body is really high on the guy than I bring my owns to my opponents hips so I can school myself down to come to a friend headlock, or so I could reach my hand across into an armpit. I don't like to show wrestlers cross facing from a sprawl, just because my 2 years wrestling in college I never really noticed cross facing, or at least wasn't part of my drilling. It was always bring the head down and get into a headlock position. What's the disadvantages and advantages of cross facing and how do you it the absolute right ways. I think I love about your site is that there are lot's of things I know how to do, but you add some important details I overlook when I'm coaching a move, as well as all the situations that happen from a particular move.
Thank you
Sprawl Clinic
Cary asked me to post this question so we could all benefit from the question and answer session, so here it is.
Next week's clinic has to do with the sprawl and I got a question. My son loves to use the front headlock chain wrestling from the sprawl. When he uses motion on the mat and gets the guy moving he does fine with a spin behind or a shuck and gets his two. He is young and sometimes gets too deep on the front headlock and gets sucker dragged or short sit and gets in trouble that way. When he attacks the front headlock off a collar tie he is fine, his trouble is off the sprawl. Maybe he becomes complacent with deep arms because he is so concerned about defending his legs with the sprawl. Regardless, he will be watching the clinic and any pointers on the sprawl to front head is appreciated.
Thx.
Kevin
I think we can record and
I think we can record and then play it again as a recording i will find out
live Clinic
Cary, I work and may not be able to view live clinic on 9/3 at that time. Would it be recorded? The following week works much better for me. I did post the question as a new topic on the forum so others could see it. I appreciate the problem with technical questions and your effort to accomodate. Love the site.
